UKLC Are Operational Again With UK Half Term Camps
This October, we were delighted to be able to deliver our wonderful programmes again. After such a difficult year for everyone, we felt very fortunate to be able to work again with our close partners at York Bootham and Reading Queen Anne’s School and provide a half term solution for their International boarding students who were unable to return home.
We set out to deliver the best possible UKLC experience for the 40+ International students at each school with their well being at the forefront of our minds. The programme we put together based on the students interests and requests was tailor made to include the very best of what we do.
Sports, art, leadership, personal well being and growth sessions were all a part of the everyday and were very well received. Students were taught in bubbles in a COVID secure environment whilst normalising this time as much as possible. We have been recognised for our strengths in safeguarding by the British council and have developed robust systems and processes for managing the welfare of the children in our care. With this in mind, we knew we would be able to help these students and schools navigate this half term period and offer them the very best of UKLC.
We are currently working hard to tailor make programmes together with our valued partner schools to deliver similar brilliant experiences for International students all over the UK during the upcoming February and Easter half terms.
