Bootham School, York
Bootham School is a traditional English private school in the centre of York. It sits just outside the city walls and the spires of the famous York Minster can be seen from the grounds. The school boasts excellent modern teaching and sports facilities.
York is situated in North Yorkshire in between the Yorkshire Dales and the Pennines. The city was founded in 71 AD and has a proud Roman and Viking heritage which is still evident today. Students can walk around the Roman walls, explore the charming Shambles and visit the York Dungeons to learn about how life once was.
