English Plus Performing Arts

Programme Downloads

During these sessions, students passionate about dancing, acting, or singing will immerse themselves in hands-on training designed to unleash their creative potential on any kind of stage. They will not only develop their talents but also experience the thrill of live performance, collaboration, and artistic expression.

Included in our English Plus Performing Arts Programme:

15 hours of English tuition per week;
9 hours of performing arts workshop per week;
1 free group leader place for every 15 students;
Full-board accommodation in residence or homestay (centre dependent)
1 full-day excursion and 2 half-day excursions per week or 3 full-day excursions and 3 half-day excursions over two weeks (centre dependent);
Evening activities;
End-of-course certificate.

Programme notes:

Students who have not selected a programme by 31st May or who enrol after that date will join the Multi-Activity programme;
All students aged 8-10 will join a Multi-Activity programme;
A minimum of 10 students applies to each programme and each student will be asked to select a 1st and 2nd option before arrival which they will join for the duration of their stay;
At some centres we run a zig-zag programme. This will be confirmed on the programme sent out prior to arrival;
Residential students do a full programme of evening activities. Homestay students spend their evenings with their hosts and do two evening activities per week at the centre.

Dean Close School

Situated in the beautiful Cotswolds, Cheltenham is full of history and culture. It’s the most complete Regency town in the UK. The Regency period lasted from 1811 to 1820 and is well known for it’s stunning architecture which you can see scattered all around the town. Students can enjoy the many things to do in Cheltenham, as well as exploring the local area, famous for its countryside, nature and historical sites and cities.

Dean Close School was founded in 1886 and has many traditional and beautiful buildings on its grounds. Situated on the edge of the town, it is easy walking distance to the centre so students can enjoy everything that Cheltenham has to offer.

This city centre school is the largest specialist music school in the UK and is famous for being home to the oldest lending library in the world - Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels used to meet there often! The site offers a mix of modern facilities and accommodation set against a back drop of medieval architecture.

Queen Anne’s School

Reading, Queen Anne's School

Queen Anne’s School has a history which dates back to 1698. It is situated in a lovely closed campus with 35 acres of extensive landscaped grounds just north of the River Thames. The grounds combine traditional Victorian architecture with new and contemporary buildings to provide cutting-edge facilities, all of which are just a one-mile walk from the centre of Reading.

Bootham School

York, Bootham School

Bootham School is a traditional English private school in the centre of York. It was started in 1823 by the Society of Friends and to this day it is a Quaker school. It sits just outside the city walls and the spires of the famous York Minster can be seen from the grounds.
