St Peter’s School, York
St Peter’s School is a historic and traditional English private school in the centre of York. It has extensive grounds which run down to the River Ouse and boasts fantastic sports facilities. Founded by St Paulinus of York in AD 627, it is the third oldest school in the whole of the UK!
York is one of the most popular cities in the UK. It is famed for its incredible history and receives 7 million tourists per year! It has been important at least 2000 years – as a Roman, Viking and medieval Anglo Saxon city – and that’s one of the reasons why the Tour de France started here in 2014. You can still see yellow bikes on display across the city.
